In the catalogue of the exposition “Rodin and the evoluion of sculptures. From Camille Claudel to Giacometti<\/em>“, held in Barcelona during Autumn-Winter of 2004, there was included an interesting essay tittled “Rodin and the tranformation of sculpture in Spain” from which the author is the historian, art critic, and exposition superintendent, Josefina Alix. Amongst the figures which decorate the mentioned essay there’s a photographic representation of the sculpture Boxers and referee from Francisco P\u00e9rez Mateo, artist named throughout the narration.
