Questionnaires were answered by 49 boys and girls involved in karate. Results showed relationships among goals orientation and the following factors: perceived motivational climate in their environment, perception of ability, success attributions in sport, sports practice enjoyment, learning commitment and dedication, and anxiety related to error and stress situations. <br> Ego orientation correlated with&nbsp; ego perceived motivational climate in parents, trainer and partners; with a higher perception of ability; with normative ability and deceit as&nbsp; way to achieve success in sport, and with boredom.<br> Task orientation correlated with motivation-effort in order to achieve success, with sports practice enjoyment, anxiety over stressful situations and with a lower learning commitment and dedication.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"tags\"> <p><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> <span>Anxiety<\/span>, <span>Commitment<\/span>, <span>enjoyment<\/span>, <span>Motivational Climate<\/span>, <span>Success Attribution<\/span>, <span>Task-Ego<\/span><\/p> <\/div> \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abstract In this study relationships among motivational orientation and different aspects of sports practice were analyzed in four competition-level karate clubs.
