From its deep and radical nature art consists in the search of beauty by men. According to specialists art doesn’t provide any knowledge farther from our senses, differing from philosophy or science who’s reason of being is to dig out the knowledge existing in reality. Neither is art a watching (in the general meaning of the term) but a doing, since this one doesn’t intend to say what something is, or how it is, or why it is, but to make that something to be. Some authors point out that art is a way of escaping and an alternative that comes out as a necessity counterposed against the harsh human rality, others interpret art as a creation of values (the beautiful, the sublime, the cosmic…), and there’s also others who aprehend it as a simbolization form. It has to be said that all those positions complement each other and explain in order to find the answer at size conceptual challenge so old as men: analizing the piece of art in its context studying its cultural and social roots, the function of the artsist and his relations with his contemporaries, without forgetting the theoretical and technical principles of the artistic expression.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
