En l\u2019estudi participaren 6 subjectes barons atletes de resist\u00e8ncia de 31 anys (\u00b1 4,6 anys), amb una experi\u00e8ncia esportiva de 14 anys (\u00b1 4 anys) que van fer un entrenament d\u2019intervals on es va determinar la velocitat, freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia i amplitud de gambada mitjana de cada repetici\u00f3 a partir de la zona de gravaci\u00f3. El percentatge de p\u00e8rdua d\u2019amplitud de gambada, mesurat a trav\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00edndex SLS <em>(stride loss strength)<\/em>, va comparar aquesta p\u00e8rdua de longitud de gambada (cm\/m\u00b7s-1) entre grups de repeticions: grup 1 (repeticions 1-7), grup 2 (repeticions 8-14), grup 3 (repeticions 15-21). Es va observar un descens significatiu en l\u2019\u00edndex SLS entre el grup 2 i el grup 3 (p\u2009=\u20090,05).
