Setze jugadores de voleibol, vuit pertanyents al grup d\u2019expertes (m\u00e9s de 10 anys d\u2019experi\u00e8ncia) i vuit al grup de principiants (quatre anys d\u2019experi\u00e8ncia) componien la mostra d\u2019estudi. Es va analitzar la planificaci\u00f3 d\u2019estrat\u00e8gies de les atacants durant la competici\u00f3, per a la qual cosa es va utilitzar la segona pregunta de l\u2019entrevista despr\u00e9s de l\u2019acci\u00f3 que havia elaborat McPherson (2000), i es va obtenir informaci\u00f3 sobre els seus pensaments actuals, possibilitats d\u2019actuaci\u00f3 sobre els punts posteriors i avaluaci\u00f3 de l\u2019actuaci\u00f3. Es va utilitzar el sistema de codificaci\u00f3 que havia elaborat McPherson, que t\u00e9 tres nivells d\u2019an\u00e0lisi: contingut conceptual, sofisticaci\u00f3 conceptual i estructura conceptual. Els resultats van determinar que les jugadores expertes posse\u00efen una m\u00e9s qualitat de reflexi\u00f3, m\u00e9s coneixement procedimental, verbalitzacions m\u00e9s sofisticades i amb estructures m\u00e9s complexes.
