L\u2019esport pot, i ha de ser, una eina poderosa per ajudar a reduir la pobresa i l\u2019exclusi\u00f3 social al m\u00f3n. El seu impuls globalitzador, el seu poder econ\u00f2mic mundial, la seva capacitat de tracci\u00f3 i seducci\u00f3 de masses, la seva condici\u00f3 de pr\u00e0ctica basada en la igualtat d\u2019oportunitats i la seva capacitat d\u2019integraci\u00f3 i cohesi\u00f3 social el situen com un pilar fonamental en la lluita contra la pobresa.
