L\u2019acci\u00f3 sin\u00e8rgica de la for\u00e7a de la musculatura abdominal, la din\u00e0mica ventilat\u00f2ria i un adequat control postural contribueixen a estabilitzar la columna vertebral lumbar i a minimitzar l\u2019estr\u00e8s que suporta a l\u2019hora d\u2019aixecar, transportar o elevar determinades c\u00e0rregues. Aquesta consideraci\u00f3 resulta un aspecte essencial no solament en el rendiment esportiu sin\u00f3 en la conservaci\u00f3 i millora de la salut i la qualitat de vida. No obstant aix\u00f2, per al disseny i la selecci\u00f3 d\u2019exercicis destinats a la finalitat esmentada resulta imprescindible en cada moment con\u00e8ixer la capacitat de cada subjecte de garantir una adequada execuci\u00f3 dels exercicis seleccionats.
