Sigui com sigui, s&#8217;han pogut identificar diversos indicadors de l&#8217;entusiasme sondejant professors i alumnes (Caruso, 1980) o mitjan\u00e7ant la t\u00e8cnica d&#8217;incidents cr\u00edtics (Cloes i Pi\u00e9ron, 1989). Aquests han constatat moltes similituds entre les concepcions de l&#8217;entusiasme i de la seva operativitat als Estats Units i a Europa. Els indicadors m\u00e9s freq\u00fcents citats giren al voltant de l&#8217;est\u00edmul, de la participaci\u00f3 del professor en les activitats, de la seva mostra d&#8217;inter\u00e8s pels alumnes, del feedback i, fins i tot, de les manifestacions de bon humor. En canvi, una manca d&#8217;inter\u00e8s, un exc\u00e9s de disciplina o de cr\u00edtiques a l&#8217;activitat de l&#8217;alumne es perceben generalment com a signes de falta d&#8217;entusiasme (Cloes i Pi\u00e9ron, 1989). A m\u00e9s, s&#8217;ha comprovat que els comportaments entusiastes es poden adquirir mitjan\u00e7ant una preparaci\u00f3 adequada (Cloes, 1987; Carlisle i Phillips, 1984).
