Els subjectes participants en l&#8217;estudi van ser assignats aleat\u00f2riament a quatre grups: ) grup d&#8217;exercici aer\u00f2bic (n=30), 2) grup d&#8217;exercici no-aer\u00f2bic (ioga) (n=27), 3) grup control d&#8217;activitats socials (n=20) i 4) grup control en llista d&#8217;espera (n=18). Es va utilitzar com a instrument d&#8217;avaluaci\u00f3 de les respostes psicol\u00f2giques globals indu\u00efdes per l&#8217;exercici la Subjective Excercise Experiences Scale (SEES; McAuley &amp; Courneya, 1994) i, com a mesura de la sensaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;esfor\u00e7 percebut, la Perceived Exertion Scales (RPE-Scales; Borg, 1982). Els resultats de la valoraci\u00f3 de 4 mesos d&#8217;entrenament, indiquen un augment significatiu del benestar psicol\u00f2gic en els dos grups d&#8217;exercici (aer\u00f2bic i no-aer\u00f2bic) en comparaci\u00f3 amb els mesuraments pre i post exercici, i amb els grups control (activitats socials i llista d&#8217;espera). El grup d&#8217;exercici aer\u00f2bic va presentar puntuacions m\u00e9s elevades en el benestar psicol\u00f2gic i en la sensaci\u00f3 de fatiga que el grup d&#8217;exercici no-aer\u00f2bic.
