S\u2019identifica amb un tipus d\u2019esfor\u00e7 fraccionat i a intervals amb pauses de recuperaci\u00f3 incompletes actives i passives de durada variable. El cor, a causa de les caracter\u00edstiques d\u2019aquest esport \u00e9s probablement l\u2019\u00f2rgan que m\u00e9s se sol\u00b7licita durant la seva pr\u00e0ctica, i ha de realitzar un gran treball cardiovascular. El futbol sala t\u00e9 una gran repercussi\u00f3 social al nostre pa\u00eds (actualment existeixen 1.500.000 fitxes federatives) per\u00f2 les investigacions sobre aquest esport continuen sent nul\u00b7les o molt escasses. Ens plantegem la realitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019un estudi cardiovascular i una an\u00e0lisi de les necessitats energ\u00e8tiques que es produeixen quan es pr\u00e0ctica regularment. En l\u2019estudi han participat 3 equips, que han format una mostra total de 33 jugadors: 14 de professionals i 19 de no professionals. Es va registrar la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia card\u00edaca aproximadament en 150 partits. Tots els jugadors van realitzar una prova m\u00e0xima d\u2019esfor\u00e7 (Course-Navette) per determinar la seva freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia card\u00edaca m\u00e0xima real (FCMR), el consum m\u00e0xim d\u2019oxigen i la capacitat de recuperaci\u00f3. Entre les conclusions cal destacar que: El futbol sala t\u00e9 un component anaer\u00f2bic molt elevat i requereix una adaptaci\u00f3 cardiovascular entre el 85-90% de la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia card\u00edaca m\u00e0xima individual. La pr\u00e0ctica del futbol sala requereix un adequat VO2m\u00e0x i una bona capacitat de recuperaci\u00f3. El jugador de futbol sala necessita una gran pot\u00e8ncia i capacitat anaer\u00f2bica al\u00e0ctica i una r\u00e0pida regeneraci\u00f3 dels fosf\u00e0gens.
