Per fer-ho, es va estudiar la millora de la FIM en 20 subjectes de mitjana edat i de tots dos sexes (n = 20). Despr\u00e9s del protocol d\u2019entrenament es van trobar difer\u00e8ncies significatives en tots dos entrenaments. Es va trobar m\u00e9s estabilitat en la resposta del grup que nom\u00e9s va utilitzar l\u2019entrenament isom\u00e8tric voluntari, no obstant aix\u00f2, es va trobar un major rang de millora del grup que va fer servir l\u2019electroestimulaci\u00f3 simult\u00e0nia amb l\u2019entrenament.
